Omg! Ever since I heard about this story from the “Most Notorious” podcast I thought it would make an amazing film! It’s one of those stories that are made all the more amazing because it was true. The stakes were so high.
A meh-looking girl who decides the fate of history... Sounds similar to "Troy". The trailer looks promising but in truth Ridley Scott has lost his touch. Let's hope the movie justify the trailer.
I just read about this story randomly a few days ago... Crazy to see this now.. It's a crazy intriguing story, happy ending or not.
The end of the year gonna be legendary
This looks incredible. So glad to see a big budget historical film coming back to cinemas.
LOL at the bitchen mullet on Matt Damon! And if they're in France, what's with the terrible British accents?
0:49 look children, this is the helmet of a man who wants to be killed at the first hit of a tournament spear. If you ever decide to participate in a duel, do not wear a helmet that is full of such a giant holes.
I still didn’t get what part of history is this movie about ?
Matt Damon keeps looking more like the lead singer of metallica
Waiting for the lefties to cry about medieval history being to white and too many strong male leads.
How odd. All I've seen is righties teasing that pocs should be cast in the roles of the white people this true story is about. They seem to think lefties should be so poc that they disregard history.
I was wondering when Matt Damon and Ben Affleck would reunite on a project together, I didn't expect it to be some medieval epic directed by Ridley Scott and written by both Matt Damon and Ben Affleck!!! Now the 2 biggest movies I am looking forward to this year comes out on the same day October 15, 2021. The Last Duel and Halloween Kills.
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon doing an English accent? Hmmm....
Why does Matt Damon keep getting roles in movies that require an accent despite not even trying the accent?
The movie doesn't seem to require an accent so everybody's doing their own. It's set in France and nobody is attempting a French accent.
Movies like these always get nominated for oscars like Troy and gladiator
It will be a sad day for cinema when Ridley Scott retires
what a trailer !!! magnificent
This will be Ridley Scott finest hour
While movie is in Trailer. Wow!!!
Disney : "Only In Disney +." 20th Century Fox : "Hold My Theaters."
Hollywood’s own bad behaviour brought on this metoo stuff and now they expect to lecture us on the evils of men. Thanks, Affleck!
Ugh another movie with “English” accents portraying a story based in/about France. Could they not find actors that could do a French accent??
1:20 I see Dasha is still the jaded mother figure to Villanelle even back in the 14th century 🧐
Didn't she kill Eve?
@asioe kiou killing Eve on Amazon
Where i can watch this??
finally a trailer for a movie that's actually got me excited and looks like it could be good.
Well hello there Villanelle.. We have missed you..
How bout them baguettes!
Why are these American actors using bad English accents to portray 14th century French noblemen? Seems like an odd choice, and feels very contrived.
This where GRRM got it for.
I will risk covid to see this.
uhmm, No. Thank you.
No forced diversity??? Wow.
Nice! Bring back historical & Classical films pls tired of these comic movies
Can't wait to see this powerful movie in October
“In the true spirit of French being spoken with a British accent, I give this a blimey guv’nor’!” - Conan O’Brien
modern french sounds just as anachronistic
This movie is gonna be HEAT! Nice Saturday afternoon viewing with a cup of TEA!
Not one dragon, what's going on here?
great movie i will definitely watch
How easily we fall for words. Based on true story? Whose story?
It looks all right? I'm not sure about some of the hammy lines like these lines though: "The truth does not matter. There is only the power of men." Seems like a failed attempt to wax profound.
Finally, a real movie! Im so tired of superheroes
This is my type of movies, not the type of movies they have been producing nowadays 😒.
What's the music?
Free Guy: The Dark Ages with Jodie Foster
Can't wait to see it
Kylo Ren vs Jason Bourne. YEAHHHHH
Ridley's an Adorable Folk.
Since when can jason bourne time travel?
Man, I can't wait to see Ben Damon and Matt Afleck in action!
English actors downvoted this trailer because they cannot fookin understand why the medieval French knights are not speaking in proper British accent.
Looks bad. Not a good cast at all
I will watch it for Adam Driver but gosh do I feel sick over the setting already. So many many years ago and yet up to this day the hurdles survivors are to take for not being silent are grand. Thankfully not always as random as in the past, when the excuses of so called "judgement" were more often utterly unrelated to the charge than not. But still, the hurdles are enourmous! And while we should struggle with passing judgements, we're yet anywhere between "nowhere near" to "on the way, still" (depending on region) in opening safe spaces and procedures that let survivors come forth without having to be very stongly backed and/or of very very very strong character, not to mention financially equipped to even consider trial.
Medieval Title 9
Le Gris lost, and he might have actually been innocent, just so you know.
That's why they quit allowing duels to 'prove' who was telling the truth.
There is only the power of men - someone should tell CNN.
माँ:- बेटा क्या कर रहे हो बेटा :- माँ आपकी लम्बी उम्र के लिए youtube पर like कर रहा हूँ 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I can't unsee Kylo Ren here, him dressed all black and being a baddy
They should stay away from such a big time cast and make these movies with new up and coming actors and make more series than motion pictures.
It potentially talks about important topics and the "big time cast" can not only bring attention there, but some of the "big time cast" were the writers for the screenplay in first place. ;)
So it's kind of #MeToo in medieval times?
Hopefully not. If they take that route it means they decided for themselves who was telling the truth. It isn't actually known and I hope that's the way they filmed it.
Matt Damon looks like James Hatfield.
This is giving me white Princess vibes , we have the same castle they used plus a lot of the same actresses ... Jodie and Harriet Walter ( the Spanish princess)
Not my thing but the cast (Jodie and Adam) has me hooked
The anachronistic feminist narrative.
It looks like a good movie .Little to no CGI which I love and the fighting looks less scripted and more raw and realistic.
I love Jodie Comer and Matt Damon, too. Can't wait for this.
This looks awful. LOL
Good,don't watch it.
OMG I LOVE HER. I CANT WAIT TO SEE HER IN THIS TYPEA MOVIE. SHE A KALESSI!
#MeToo - Medieval 😐
Who did the hair?
I’ll watch anything with Jodie comer in it
Is that matt demon.... ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Affleck and Damon in medieval lol Another Ridley Scott fantasy bs pretending to have anything with history.
Sir Ulrich von Liechtenstein
Berze le chatel
Wow, Me Too: Medieval Edition. White man bad, even when simping and defending m'lady's honor. Wahman stronk, don't need no man.
@Ulrich Von Liechtenstein Yes, with a #MeToo interpretation of this book...
This is based on a non fiction book from 2004
@billiey giles Pass. Hollywood can keep their shitty movie, since they've released the exact same trash for the past 5 years now.
Wait for the movie.
Real European history, in all its brutality and complexity, makes the Game of Thrones look like a fairy tale!

I'll watch this to listen to Matt Damon make ZERO effort on his English accent.
Do Matt Damon needs to be rescued in this one too ??
It looks like Theo Von was born for this role, looks phenomenal
i'm looking forward to it but for fcks sake people need to stop editing every trailer like it's a superhero movie
Oh nice, I thought the same. In more polite X'D
It said it was based on a real story... what's the real story ??
the whole process of the charge and the knight going into duel, which should act as divine judgement, with the woman's life at stake. From what I've read others say about that.
"You're risking my life so you can save your pride" They missed a golden opportunity to name that movie Saving Private Ryan's Pride
Looks good (for a movie) but they really went: "Proper helmets? We paid for Matt Damon and Adam Driver and we will not cover those handsome mugs for a frame longer than we absolutely have to!" again...
Here I thought I had found sth. nice, new and rare I hadn't seen in museums yet!
Could be one of the better movies with knights
